Malloch McClean Tasman.

Manoli Aerakis founded Malloch McClean Tasman in 2017 with a vision to create a modern accounting firm focused on helping clients build smarter better businesses.

In a short period of time, Malloch McClean Tasman has grown to become one of the most successful accounting firms in New Zealand, winning multiple national awards.

Malloch McClean Tasman boasts a talented team of 20 members across two locations, offering clients an unparalleled range of services, specialist expertise and resources to help them make money, pay less tax, and get ahead faster.

The Crux Merger.

Crux was established by Michael Parker and Nathan Silcock in 2018 as an innovative new accounting firm with a vision to set the benchmark for the firm of the future. Over a period of 4 years Crux grew to a team of 9, with a client base of growth-minded businesses throughout New Zealand.

In 2021 Crux won the Xero NZ Small Partner of the Year Award and was a finalist in the Xero NZ People’s Choice Award. The directors of Crux and Malloch McClean got talking at the awards ceremony and quickly realised there was a lot of alignment and shared values between the firms. As such, we decided to join forces officially merging in April 2023. The merger brings together two progressive award winning firms, to create a new accounting powerhouse across Te Tau Ihu Top of the South.

Our Sister Firm in Southland.

The Malloch McClean brand was originally established in Southland in 1933 when Mr Malloch set off on his bicycle around the countryside talking to farmers about the impending introduction of depreciation and the need for double entry accounting. His success depended on theirs, so Mr Malloch added value wherever he could. He went on to author books about farm accounting that has influenced a generation of accountants, economists and student.

Whilst Malloch McClean Tasman is locally owned and operated, we have a strong partnership with Southland based Malloch McClean, sharing resources and knowledge to create maximum value for our clients.
